Nicole "Nika" Fugo Zibelman | Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Yoga Teacher & Mama
Raised in the gardens and kitchens of strong Italian matriarchs who taught lessons beyond words; Turning the rich, dark soil, tending to vibrant gardens bursting with vegetables & herbs, stirring hot cauldrons of fragrant stews & sauces, sewing torn clothes by hand and continually learning to make use of all things as sacred & valuable. The “old ways” were passed down as ancient secrets and carried the essence of simplicity; of living in rhythm with nature; using medicine from the plants around us; finding the sacred in each form. It is from this place that Nika's first footsteps in sustainable, mindful living were born and what most deeply infuses her work.
"Nika is passionate about creating a sacred space for healing and empowering her clients to connect to that place of deep wisdom & resilience within."
Nika's life path has truly been dedicated to the study of holistic healing practices, many rooted in nature based medicine. This path has also been greatly influenced by her passion for comprehensive & empowered healthcare for women through all stages of life. Her clinical practice specializes in assisting women with reproductive health, fertility (both natural and in combination with ART), hormonal balance and full spectrum pregnancy through postpartum care. Nika also support babies and children with acupuncture, "shonishin" treatments (japanese acupressure), herbal medicine and moxa therapy.
Nika is a mama to two strong & spirited girls. Her first hand experience of pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood have added a deeper layer of understanding and wisdom to her professional practice and work with women. When not seeing clients or keeping up with her family, she can be found hiking the beautiful trails of Northern California, tending to her own ever expanding garden, practicing yoga & meditation, supporting other local businesses and being an advocate/ally for women's resources in the county.
